Terra Nova Center Fundraiser
At Origin Arts & Wellness, we do our best to support nonprofit organizations through our programs and fundraiser dinner events offering community wellbeing activities, and serve nutritious delicious food to the patrons.
Our first monthly fundraiser Indian dinner event along with dance concert and art presentation happened in April 2023 at Terra Nova Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which has been impacted by the pandemic. Inspired by the support from the community, we are honored to continue to serve Terra Nova Center and the mountain that houses this serene space. Something in the very air, the energy in this land touches everyone who visits.

Tibetan Thangka Paintings, originated in India as Buddhist scroll paintings, travelled to Tibet, and developed and flourished over a thousand years in Tibet. After the occupation of Tibet in 1959, His Holiness the Fourteenth Dalai Lama sought asylum in India. Tibetan masters and the artists carried with them the rich tradition of Buddhist paintings back to its Indian birthplace. This session includes the history, unique thangka art materials, the profound quality and impact that the thangka paintings create in an artist. The presentation is offered by Yogesh Cutler who studies under Master Locho, an eminent thangka painter, who studied under late Master Tempa Choephel, a Master teacher at the prestigious Norbulingka Institute located in Dharamsala, India.
Indian Dance Concert includes dance forms from different parts of India including Bollywood, Folk, Semi-Classical and Classical. An original choreography offering of 5 dance pieces by Tanamayi to appreciate the rich ancient Indian culture where these dinner recipes originated. We hope one day this would become a platform to share cuisines and art forms from different cultures of the world.
